Here's a virtual tour of our new house. I don't have a picture of the front of the house yet, but the Multiple Listing Service does: go to www.wisconsinhomes.com and enter MLS# 303335.
entry : Just inside the front entrance. Dining room is to the left, kitchen straight ahead, living room and family room to the right. Upstairs, you see two doors: the right one is my office, and the left one is one of the kids' bedrooms. The third kid bedroom is to the left, as is one upstairs bathroom. The master bedroom (with sitting area and its own bath) is at the top of the stairs to the right.
entry_facing_right : Glimpses of the family room and living room from the front entrance. We'll replace the pink linoleum and the pink carpet.
livingroom : Living room from the front entrance. The pink walls are not long for this world.
kitchen : Kitchen bay window
kitchen : The rest of the kitchen. This is about twice the size of our kitchen in NJ before you add in the island or the built in desk. Notice the pink countertops! They will go, as will the wallpaper and maybe the cabinets too.
familyroom : The fireplace is gas, not woodburning. The awful window seats will go.
familyroom_facing_right : French doors back into the living room.
diningroom : The wallpaper will go. We'll rip up the carpet and put in a wood floor.
halfbath : Off a small hallway (not pictured) between the kitchen and the dining room. Wallpaper and mirror will go.
masterbedroom : Closet is to the left (I think), behind Tamara the realtor. Sitting area is around to the right. Not sure where the bathroom is. Wallpaper and curtains will go.
masterbedroom : Taken from the far corner of the room in the previous shot. Wallpaper here will die too.
basement : Stairway comes down from the hall between the kitchen and dining room. Bathroom has a stall shower.
basement : Door on the left, behind the bathroom, leads to the unfinished half of the basement. There's another door behind the camera and to the left. Note the full size "legal" windows (legal because you can fit a firefighter through them).
outside : Side view of the house. The windows tucked behind the bushes are the ones you just saw in the basement.
outsideback : Side and back of the house from outside the trellis/archway dealie
outback : The gravel patio will become a deck. Sliding door here is from the family room with the fireplace.
outback : Looking through our back yard into the neighbors'. No fence for easy ball retrieval during back yard baseball.
patio_facing_left : Scanning left to right, looking through our back yard from the patio.
patio_facing_right : Continuing the scan, the back yard, trellis/arch, side street, neighborhood.
patio_facing_way_right : Finishing the scan.
park : The park/playground about two blocks away.
